I just finished listening to podcast "Du se san ren zu" Ep 7.
I find it interesting and totally agree with all of you.
I was living abroad for several years and just returned home last year. Whenever I go out, I still see many Singaporeans not knowing how to dress, speak and the "kiasuism" still persists. And yes, many Singaporeans don't smile, always frown & bitter looking. If I smile, they would give a "do I know you? look.
Perhaps, there is a need to kind of "educate" these group of people via schools, media or whatever to make them aware that personal grooming, personality & mannerism is important in this day & age.
