They were displaying many old posters from the previous TV Series...and this one caught my eye. Yes!! I use to watch it.. like 排球女将 from Japan.. and this Tennis show.. forgot liow...
...... I had lunch in Orchard Cineleisure...
It was dry Duck Noodles. I ordered a plate of Peanuts and i saw the woman in that store going to the back of the kitchen and opened a can of Peanuts. Without even cooking, she served it to me. I asked.. Dun you cook it? She said.. No.. do you want then?
Singapore Hawkers totally have no pride in their food.
I don't think they eat like that at home.

OMG ! the canned peanuts from Cineleisure Orchard. (Speechless)
erm pls, its a known fact that some canned food doesnt have to be cooked wad..like sardines..and canned peanuts. u go chinese restaurant, they'll also give u canned peanuts as a starter, and obv they dont cook it!!!!!

at least they dun OPEN in FRONT of me loh
yak! although canned food are boiled when they are canned at the factory to kill certain bacteria, that doesn't mean it is safe for consumption when you open a can as you may not know how contaminated your can opener is.
What with the exposed food laying around before been served to customers.
My personal preference is to give the content a warming-up before consuming.
Better to be safe than sorry!
Kelvin, dunt be so angry lah.If u dunt like their food, then cook yrself n eat at home lah.U can do what u want at home wad. Nobody cares whether u eat them cooked or raw.Fussy people lah u, so hard to please.
c'mon, putting a can food to quick boil or even heat it up in a microwave oven has nothing to do with fussy. It's just a preference of an individual and I'm like Kevin.
Oh, i mean dunt troubble the staffs wad. They are already very busy,anyway,canned peanuts can be eaten raw.
that tennis show is call Wang Qiu Jie Pai (no Chinese software). I am also looking for the VCD or DVD.
I've seen my fair share of rude singaporeans and I simply do not understand why they are in their particular job when they can't even provide the necessary service, not to mention value-added service.
On the other hand, they are foreigners overseas who simply take pride in themselves and their job, even if they are road sweepers.
I believe it has to do with the notion of locals deeming their jobs as high class or low class, hence the level of pride associated with their job.
yes i agree that even if a food vendor wants to make it raw even it is supposed to be cooked,dun do it in front of the customers.it totally puts ppl off.
