881: Music and Movie Rendezvous

It was a nice Saturday afternoon well spent. To see Royston and Eric again. So weird cause i knew them for so many years already.
I knew Eric 10 years ago when he was still helping us out in the Radio station at 动力. He was always there for guitar sessions. I knew Royston like 5 years ago when i was hosting 艺TV. He was then, a short film producer. They only met end of last year and worked on this movie. I should've just introduce them to each other earlier ... fate loh...hahah

Those that came was really happy as we announced that we were giving away movie premiere tickets and also 2 sets of Samsung Digital Camera. There were also free food afterwards. So nice!




There were some interesting facts that i discovered about this movie which i am going to share with you now.

1. Movie was filmed for only 22 days
2. All the songs performed by 木瓜姐妹 in the movie is 代唱 by our familiar 明珠姐妹
3. Gala Premiere of the movie will be at 08 Aug. 明珠姐妹 will be there to walk the 红地毯
4. The soundmix was done in Melbourne
5. Royston gave many Techno references to Eric and wants to make a "ah Lian" movie
6. Royston as part of research, went to 跑台 with Karen 姐(who is also in the movie)
7. The Hokkien script in the movie is read by Royston and not 715
